Hi, Kim!
This was JUST what I needed to read today. I have an 8-year old daughter who is just starting 4th grade. She's advanced in many ways, but when it comes to writing she is VERY reluctant (her writing is even sloppy though she's a perfectionist in many ways). I just don't get it!
Anyway, I really needed to read this today - you've given me some ideas about how to better work with her this year. Now, I'm going to read your post on journaling.

Thanks for your nice post on my blog - I've enjoyed getting to know YOU too!
