Wordless Wednesday - Bad signage #13

Overheard at Thanksgiving

“Hmmm…this turky is missing something.”

“Yeah, I thought so too. Salt, maybe? Gravy? A side of cranberry sauce?”

“Ah, I’ve got it! Would someone please pass the ‘e’?”

Turky misspell

Stop by every 1st and 3rd Wednesday for a peek into the world of spelling, punctuation, or grammar gone horribly wrong!

I know it is a brand name, but I couldn’t help but think I’d rather eat the Turky’s body and not the head! It distracted me from the spelling error.

Too funny!

Now that’s clever, maybe it’s a technique to distract you from noticing that the price is per 1/2lb. I had to read it three times before I realized it was $5.98 per lb. Even if it’s good, normal turkey, that’s not a bargain!

Haha, Sarala! And true!

Alison, that’s a great observation. Who charges for stuff by the half pound? Now that’s deceptive!
