ACK! It’s sooooo sad.
Ha ha! That is really sad. I have a pic on my blog of a school book title “Bascic Reading Skills.” BTW – I like your blog. Lots of cool info here!
Thanks for stopping by, Karen. Your “Bascic Reading Skills” gave me a chuckle too!
I have raised a whole house full of Grammar Police, and I am proud of it!
When I see ads with grammar errors, I keep promising to write and let them know….but I seldom do. On the other hand, my punctuation is not always the best.

I love your Wordless Wednesdays. I’m surprised you find as many as two a month. I am going to keep my eyes open from now on. My father once called a major car company because their television ads repeatedly said .08% a month. He was convinced they either meant .08 financing or 8% financing a month. What they were offering instead was .0008 financing a month. Right?
Okay, clarification needed:
the car company television ads didn’t “say”, their banners “read” .08% a month.
