Hi, I'm Kim--curriculum author, speaker, retired homeschooler, and grandma to seven. Welcome to my little corner of the blogosphere. My heart is to equip and inspire you to teach writing, even when it seems like it's always an uphill battle. I invite you to poke around the blog, where you'll find writing and poetry activities, grammar tips, and hope for reluctant writers. Thanks for stopping by!

Oh that is classic! ROFL
I knew you’d get a kick out of this, JoJo. When I first saw it, I immediately thought of one of my grandsons, who used to call them “stwadaweddies.” Coming from a two-year-old, it’s adorable. But on a store sign…?
That is just too funny… Don’t you think SOMEONE in the store would have noticed???
check out these well dressed stawbaberries

Yummo—a well-dressed stawbaberry indeed. Thanks for stopping by to share the love!
I had fun reading it out loud. That’s what I’m gonna call them from now on (maybe).
My middle son called lasagna “bazanya” when he was 3, and later when he was much older (4) and I called it bazanya, he corrected me in a very patient yet exasperated tone.
I don’t know, Pat. I’m awfully fond of “stwadaweddies” myself. Just rolls off the tongue. I was so sad when Ryan stopped calling them that.
Bazanya–that’s a good one too! How dull life would be without out kids/grandkids spicing things up for us!
Kim, when Tashiana was young she couldn’t pronounce her name correctly and told people she was “Hashiana”. We would correct her by saying “No, it’s Tashiana: T- T- Tashiana.” She then began telling people her name was “T- T- Hashiana”!
Hehe. That’s so funny! My little granddaughter does the exact same thing. She can’t pronounce “with”—she says “liff.” So her daddy will say “w-w-with” and she’ll say “w-w-liff”! Cracks us up!
