The long, long, L-O-N-G wait is almost over. Yes! WriteShop Junior Book D is at the printer, and we’ll begin taking preorders in just a few days. But before that happens, we want to do a fun giveaway and give you a chance to share the excitement.
A Peek at WriteShop Junior
Author Nancy I. Sanders has done it again! After creating the amazing WriteShop Primary series, Nancy has now written WriteShop Junior for upper-elementary students.
First in the series, Book D eases your 3rd-5th graders into writing. It exposes children to genre, fiction and nonfiction writing, and journal writing, and introduces exciting new brainstorming and editing tools that truly motivate young writers!

Start with Book D if your child has not yet grasped punctuation or grammar skills and still needs help planning, organizing, and adding details to a story. (More reluctant 3rd graders should probably start with WriteShop Primary Book C.)

I have heard so much about Write Shop but we have not yet started a writing program, mostly because of my fear it will be hard and discouraging. I would be thrilled to win this product so that we might try it in a risk free situation. Thank you for the opportunity.

I nees Book D for a struggling writer with dysgrafia. I think this would be helpful for breaking down the steps of writing.
My daughters are in 3rd and 6th grade – they both were in public school until the last semester last year. So this is our first full year homeschooling. My 6th grader is so far behind with her writing that I have tried numerous programs and I am getting very frustrated. Even though this is 3rd – 5th grade. My 6th graders writing is below her grade level. My 3rd grader is gifted in reading but “hates” to write. I need help in the writing category and this looks like it may be a good start.

My left-handed 4th grade boy is the epitome of “reluctant” is an understatement. To get him to practice handwriting, I have him make lists of the fishing lures he wants. I’m afraid we will never get an essay written.

I have been eagerly awaiting the release (teasing facebook posts keeping me in suspense!) and I know my daughter would love it. As a mom, I know that writing well is an essential skill and one that this set would greatly increasing my chances of helping my daughter master.

I am super excited about this new edition! My daughter is doing 3rd grade this year and I have been racking my brain trying to find the “just right” writing program! I think this will be it!
I am teaching a class of 4th through 6th graders. Using this corriculum would be the perfect pre-cursor to graduate to the WriteShop books. I have taught WriteShop I and II for the last ten years, teaching in a class room situation. For me, this is a tried and true method to present and practice the writing skills one needs to build upon to suceed in communicating through writing.
