Educational Discounts for Classes, Co-ops, and Schools

WriteShop does not allow discounting of its products in the retail marketplace. WriteShop books will cost the same whether you buy them from us or from another retailer.

There are three exceptions to our "no discounting" policy:

We discount our products when we sell them at wholesale cost to retailers. A retailer is defined as an online store, storefront, or catalog company whose primary business is the sale of educational products.

We offer schools and co-ops an educational discount when they order in quantity for classroom use (see discount schedule below).
We do allow retailers to discount WriteShop products ONLY when they are clearancing earlier editions of WriteShop or if they need to sell slightly damaged or dog-eared merchandise at a "ding and dent" sale.

Here's the educational discount breakdown:

5-9 books 5% discount
10-19 books 10% discount
20-49 books 15% discount
50+ books 20% discount

To receive the Educational Discount, DO NOT place your order through the website; since we don't accept credit cards for Educational Discounts. Please call WriteShop at (909) 989-5576 for a total amount so you can mail a check.
The educational discount applies to Student Workbooks ONLY. (Basic Sets and Teacher's Manuals do not count toward the number of books being purchased.)
The discount applies to any combination of WriteShop I or II books.
To receive the educational discount, you must purchase all books at the same time. If you buy the books in batches, each batch will qualify for its own discount. For instance, your co-op purchases 14 books in August. In September you add six new students and order more books. Your first order qualifies for a 10% discount, and your second order qualifies for a 5% discount. Since the 20 books were not purchased at the same time, you cannot receive a 15% discount.
